About me:

I was born 1966 in Bayreuth /Germany. (noted for Richard Wagner)
I began my first profession as a dental technician 1984 and specialised in orthodontics since 1997.
By my interest in helping people I started my second education as a Holistic Bodyworker on the side and obtained certificate in 2009.

Holistic treatments I offer:

Aromatherapy and Massage

Aromatherapy is a holistic treatment, using essential oils for psychological and physical well-being. The best known practice is a relaxing Aroma Oil Massage. The essential oils I use (over forty in number) are of a very high quality and in the main are organic. Since essential oils are so powerful and concentrated, they should never be applied to the skin in their undiluted form. To apply essential oils to the skin, they are typically diluted into a carrier (sweet almond oil, apricot kernel oil e.g.), as a lotion.

If you want to know more about your personal path of life, you could choose this way of testing essential oils (about 20).
By telling me your associations with the scent (whether it is pleasent, you dislike it or it does nothing for you) I will lead you through the scent-course only by a few well-directed questions.I work intuitively and can give you some advice for further treatments. This is a very good way for choosing essential oils, not only for the massage, and it is a very good way to learn more about you as my client for a first consultation.
This session will end with a small pampering treatment (foot massage e.g.) and will last aprox. 90-120 min.

Relaxing Massage (Swedish massage)

I can offer a sensitive, gentle massage for relaxation, pampering, or body awareness. Or you may want to ease tensions, relieve pain? Then I use massage techniques to work deep into muscles and break up body fat. I work intuitively tuning in to each individual's unique needs.

Shiatsu is a traditional hands-on Japanese healing therapy, by stretching the muscles and pressure on the meridians. It follows the rules of traditional Chinese medicine and the 5 elements. The session usually takes place on a padded mat or futon at floor level. The client remains fully clothed. Shiatsu is a deeply relaxing experience and regular sessions help to prevent the build up of stress in our daily lives.

The underlying principle of Shiatsu is that vital energy, known as Ki in Japanese, flows throughout the body in a network of channels called meridians. For a variety of different reasons Ki can stop flowing freely and this then produces a symptom. We will start with a brief consultation and an anamnesis before you lie down on the futon. Your Shiatsu practitioner will use a variety of techniques like dynamic rotations and stretches, pressing with palms, thumbs, fingers, elbows along the meridian lines to improve your energy flow. It energizes your own healing possibility.

This is a self developed combination between Aromatherapy and Shiatsu. It will integrate small Aroma treatments , like foot, - hand or headmassage, during the Shiatsu session
By stimulating all senses (psychological and physical) you will benefit from both holistic treatments.

Dorn Spinal Therapy

The method is based on the natural laws of physics and anatomy and combines traditional Chinese medicine principles with Western medicine techniques and principles. Dorn Spinal Therapy was developed by Dieter Dorn in Germany during the 1970s .It is a gentle spinal and joint treatment used to work on back problems, joint problems, and organ problems and headaches caused by a wrongly placed vertebra or hip/apparent leg length imbalances. It can also help with Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMD) ,Tinnitus and irritated nerves.by releasing atlas and axis. Body movement is a fundamental element in the treatment. All corrections happen dynamically; the patient swings either a leg, arm or moves the head, depending on the area the therapist is working on. This feature makes the treatment a gentle therapy. Unlike chiropractic adjustments, Dorn Spinal Therapy does not use sudden movements.

Breuss Massage

The Breuss spinal massage is an extremely relaxing, gentle “energetic” back massage, focusing on stretching the spine to ease pressure on the discs (sponges) between the vertebrae. By stretching the spine and massaging with Hypericum oil into the discs (Silkpaper will be used as a second carrier), pain will decrease. The Breuss spinal massage compliments the Dorn spinal therapy and it is a good idea to incorporate it, as it helps soothe and loosen tight, cramped muscles.

It´s funny, that we Germans have to go to work to deserve money. Why don´t we earn or make money like English / American people. Or like the French, they gain money so easily.
